In Guardia is an historical re-enactment and parade which recalls the regular inspection of Fort St. Elmo by the Grand Bailiff of the Order of The Nights of St. John. Alarme! is a re-enactment detailing the military encounters between Maltese militias and French troops (1798 to 1800) 
Starting at 11am.  Duration 40 minutes on most Sundays throughout 2009. I have seen some photographs and it really looks good, with noisy cannons and muskets and very accurate period costumes.
