| The Way We Were 1940's Home Front weekend Exclusively organised and hosted by Exbury Gardens and Lepe Country Park in association with Hampshire County Council. Radio Days Dance Band & Guests (Saturday evening only. Concessions and complimentary tickets now available) Full weekend programme. Complimentary NAAFI for those in period dress. All period MV's and post war MV's welcome plus period civilian vehicles. Traders area on main visitor site/special introductory rates. Ample room for living history encampments at the adjoining venues of Lepe and Exbury. Well signed for visitors and exhibitors. Camping rea's/loo's/cafes Access to Lepe beach and the sea, one of the prime locations for Mulberry Harbour construction and assembly point for D-Day troops.
