Buds of May Blossom Run

A military vehicle run through the beautiful countryside of the Weald of Kent, followed by a shandy, or two, and a carvery lunch.  Leaving Pembury (1 mile from Tunbridge Wells) at 10.30am we will travel for 29 miles keeping off busy main roads and drive along country lanes, appreciating the wonderful countryside of the Garden of England.  The route passes through some of Kents most beautiful villages; Matfield, Brenchley, Horsmonden and Goudhurst, arriving at our lunch destination of Benenden just before noon. We have booked the dining room of The Bull Inn for a carvery lunch. There is a choice of 4 meat dishes and 3 vegetarian dishes with all the trimmings at £8 per head.  We are limited to 35 in the main dining room but lunch can be eaten in the other bars.  Early booking is essential and before 9th May, at the latest. Booking forms will be available at the April Dartford Club meeting and from your IMPS Area Secretaries.  The route is suitable for large military vehicles and is without bridges or height restrictions.
