 Its all about raising money for a GREAT CAUSE and enjoyment for all the family.
We have managed to get some of the very best Re-enactment groups, Military Vehicle Groups Stall holders and the Uks leading 1940s performers to attend this fantastic weekend of nostalgia, to come along and give the whole family a chance to enjoy an event at realalistic entry fees.
We will also be supporting such great charities as The Royal British legion, Help for heroes, and several local charites as well.

The Haworth 1940s Weekend |

Every springtime the village of
Haworth
in the heart of West Yorkshire's
Bronte Country
hosts a very special 1940s weekend (organised by the
Haworth Traders' Association),
with locals and visitors alike getting
togged up in 1940s gear to enjoy
a wide range of nostalgic events - which
usually include a RAF vintage plane flypast, a morale boosting visit from
"Sir Winston Churchill"
and even the "Queen Mother" - as well as authentic
swing jive dancing
being performed both in the streets during the day and
at specially arranged dances which are held at local dance halls and pubs in the
evenings (!)
