Faux vintage lingerie and hosiery including those all important fully fashioned seamed nylons.
What Katie Did specialises in faux vintage lingerie, corsetry and hosiery. Our lingerie has been taken from 1940s and 1950s patterns and reproduced using fabrics which were available during that era. Our range of corsetry is made by US company Rago who produce fabulous corselettes, girdles and waist cinchers with a strong retro look.
No 1940s/1950s outfit is complete without seamed stockings. Unfortunately there is no company in the world left who still make rayon or silk fully fashioned stockings (which would have been worn in the 1940s), but our nylon fully fashioned stockings are made on vintage machinery and are similar to those made for a brief period in 1939 in the US.
We exhibit at War and Peace, along with a few other military events. Our lingerie is also available from Michelle's.
