Hello my

Thanks
for the press pack and the pass.
I
have to say how impressed I was with the organisation, the scale of the event
was incredible, I made some very, very
interesting images. I will
approach some of the supplements about doing a
feature.

On
behalf of myself and my wife we would like to thank you for the great event. It
was definitely the highlight of the year for ourselves. It's true
what they say - if you can't buy
it in Beltring - it doesn't exist.
All
people were very friendly, and the organisation of the whole show was just top
notch. From participant's point of view - no flaws whatsoever.
We'll definitely
come back next year in bigger numbers.
Regards, E
& D, Dublin

First - and
foremost - my family and I would like say a BIG thank you to yourself and the
rest of the organisers and officials responsible for
running this year's
show. For us it was probably the best
show yet and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves throughout the show. So much
so my wife (who is generally not
into green machines) has already pencilled next years show dates into the
calendar!!
Roll on
2010 :-)
Again -
many thanks for the great time we had. NP

Are you
sighing a huge sigh of relief or of sadness that it is all over for another
year??? I wonder?
I just
wanted to send an email to you and all your team thanking you all for such a
wonderful show. I really didn't want to come home this year (back
to
reality). I thoroughly enjoyed working the NAAFI this year and also the
time before the show started seeing everyone and enjoying time with friends
and
family and actually getting some time to use my jeep.
As usual,
the show was so well organised, so much going on, so friendly and an absolute
pleasure to be able to attend. Even down to the details of
getting a
program when booking in to being entertained every night all around the site
for free. It truly is the best show. I managed to get over to
Gingers one evening (first time in 10 years!) and had a wonderful time and also
the USO on the Saturday night was fantastic.
Thank you,
thank you, thank you. It really doesn't go unnoticed on all the hard work
that is put in by everyone and we can't wait until 2010.
See you
soon. Love J and
Gang

Dear
Rex and Team,
Now we've had time to shake the Beltring dust from our hair and unpack, we
wanted to say a big thank you.
As regular attendees of the W&P show, we really enjoyed this year. We bring
a display every year and pretty much treat it as our summer holiday!
From the moment we arrived this year, we had a friendly greeting from your
girls on the gate, to Greg and Paul and Danny who as usual made us
really
welcome.
The staff who clean the loos and showers deserve a medal!! There was hardly any
hassle with kids on motorbikes etc as the stewards kept it all
under control.
Many thanks, one of the best years ever! See you in 2010!

Hello Rex, this is DH from the R.W.K. 1914 1918 Trench
display. First of all may I take this opportunity to thank you and all your
staff for the
wonderful support we had over several months and the five days of
the War and Peace Show. I have spoken both to Greg Cottee and Danny
thanking
them for all of their help in providing for our every need. We spoke to so
many people over that period, both official and the General
Public. I am
enclosing a nice e-mail from a Mr Neil Barker. His son Thomas was dressed from
head to toe as a boy soldier from the Great War
and wonderful he looked
to. As you will see from the picture he sent, Thomas enjoyed having his
picture taken with the guys. Done the way it
is, just says it all I think. Once
again many thanks and best wishes for next year.
Yours Sincerely, DH

Dear Rex
Forgive my not
writing earlier but I knew that you would be busy with the stripping down of
this years show.
I
wanted to say thank you for a wonderful show as usual, excellently organised
and run by yourself and your team.
It
is now unfortunately the only holiday that I can get, so what with my interest
in Militaria plus the fresh air and good company, it was a great four days.
I
trust the tankards and few bits I brought down for you were of use and I hope
to be back next year.
Finally, if there is anything I can do to assist you please do not hesitate to
ask.
Yours sincerely
Des Lundt-Smith

Hello everybody,
Yep this is the " Red Baron" here to tell you all about it! Let me
say as I write this little note that I'm starting to tear up thinking about the
"new" Red Baron!
Roger and Fred did a first class job on the truck
and it really shows. Cheers to all who kept it"hid" from me until I
got to see it in person. I would like to
say that there were many thoughts
running through my mind as I saw the truck, some old,but mostly thoughts about
two guys and theirs friends honoring
me and my crew by building the Red Baron.
These guys never meet me before, had no relatives ever on the Baron and still
did the truck with much reverence.
Their entire group works so hard to make all
they do as real to life as possible. My wife Lorraine and I have never been
treated so well by so many in our lives.
Everyone in that group gets three
cheers from us! We have lots of film and photos of the whole experience but
need time to sort it all out. I'll share it with
you guys later. If you can
swing it you all should take the chance and go to the War & Peace show, you
won't be sorry.Again thanks again to Roger
and Fred two of the most outstanding
guys I even met!
