Radio War and Peace to reveal D-Day Radio announcement.

Radio War and Peace gets Visitors "In the Mood" when it launches for the 3rd year to provide non-stop coverage for those on the show site and those on their way.

Broadcasting at 87.9fm, the station can generally be heard up to four miles away from the site. Used as an information tool to get the latest news around the 240 acre show, the station also plays the greatest hits of the years of War and Peace with a unique musical mix of then and now.

Mini documentaries will also be broadcast, including a revelation of how the news of D-Day was broken by a German radio station broadcasting from clandestine transmitters based in Dover and East Sussex.

Interviews with visiting dignitaries and exhibitors at the show will also be included. The station will broadcast fro 10 days, to include the set up time, between 16th and 26th July and will this year include even more showground information.

The War and Peace Show takes place between 21st - 25th July.
