For Immediate Release
2nd March 2004.
Classic Bikes Ride Out
On
23rd July 2004 as part of the world renowned KM War and Peace Show (21st-
25th July), around 100 classic motorcycles will be taking part in the Motorcycle
Ride Out 2004.
The War and Peace Show attracts around 3,000 military vehicles from all over the world from bikes to jeeps to challenger tanks!
Always a
popular part of the show, the bikes leave the Beltring site at around
11.30am and will ?ride out? around the villages of Kent for about 2
hours, stopping off for lunch on the way. Following the ride out the
bikes return to the show to take their turn by the main arena, with
trophies and prizes awarded for the best examples.
The
Motorbike ride out has been an important part of the show for eight
years now, and the numbers of bikes taking part has steadily increased
over the years. All bikes exhibiting at the show are welcome to take
part, and as such, bikes from the 1930?s onwards form a stunning
parade.
Throughout
the five day show all manner of vehicles take part in some stunning
arena action as well as being on display. Living history is also well
represented with groups representing various regiments from conflicts
ranging from WW2 to the Gulf War.
Alongside the
main arena action this year sees a second arena for the first time. Entitled
the 'Herb Miller Arena' , this area will see a quieter form of entertainment,
with 40?s fashion shows, marching bands and a classic bicycle parade among
other things.
