Food and Drink

There will be a wide range of food and drink available at the show.

We are proud to be able to offer food to suit all tastes, from fish and chips, to vegetarian noodles.

Roundels Country Kitchen

Situated inside the Hop Farm building complex, the opening hours are:

Monday and Tuesday

8:30am until 5pm, with breakfast served until 10:00am

Wednesday to Sunday

7:30am until 5pm, with breakfast served from 07:30am until 10:00am

The War and Peace Big Breakfast

Breakfast will consist of a Full English Platter consisting of , Sausage, egg, bacon, black pudding, fried slice, baked beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns served with butter and toast and a choice of tea, coffee or fruit juice. Price: £5.50

Alternative choices of all of the above are available on request at the servery as well as a choice of cereals.

All available in the peace and tranquillity of a 1942 diorama.

Lunch

If you missed The War and Peace Big Breakfast and you're tired of all that shopping on the stalls, come and take the weight off your feet and tuck into our lunchtime menu.

Lamb Hot Pot & Veg

Chilli Con Carne with Rice and or Chips
Fish, Chips and Beans or Peas
Chicken Curry with Rice and or Chips
Jacket Potatoes With a Choice of Fillings
Coffee, Tea, Soft drinks and licensed bar

Evening Meal

Relax on the lawns amidst the oasts, enjoy the peace and tranquillity at the end of the day as our own Chefs prepare a barbeque for you. Tuck in to Ribs, sausages, burgers, drumsticks and a choice of salads and relishes. All washed down with ales and wines from our garden bar.

Available Monday to Friday 6pm till dusk. All you can fit on your plate for £6.50

 
   

 

Barbeques

If you are having your own barbeque alongside your camping area please ensure adequate fire fighting equipment is available. Remember to visit the NAAFI for any of your needs. It is suggested that all vehicles carry a current working fire extinguisher.

Bars

The three main bars are Kitcheners Bar, the Ginger Gammon Tent and the Herb Miller Marquee. All three will have live entertainment and DJs.

There will also be three bottle bars on the site, and the Hop Farm bar/restaurant will maintain its normal opening hours.

Shops

There will again be a provisions store on site - the N.A.A.F.I Provisions Shop , stocking all the essentials, such as bread, milk and vegetables, cigarettes, newspapers, toothpaste etc. Click here for more information.

Park Catering

Park Catering are proud to be the sole providers of catering outlets to The 2002 War & Peace event.

The catering outlets will be arranged in three food courts at convenient locations across the showground. Each food court will include a wide selection of foods from fish & chips to stir fry and bacon baps to kebabs. In each food court one unit will be allocated to open early, 7.00 am, and another allocated to stay open very late, until the adjacent bar closes. All food outlets will be open between the hours of 9.00am - 7.00pm every day.
