PRESS RELEASE
Herb Miller Night a Sell out!
The ever popular
Heb Miller Big Band Spectacular held at the Hop Farm Country Park on
20th July 2002, has this year beaten all records, selling out 3 weeks
before the event.
Although the
evening has always been busy, generally some tickets can still be
bought during the War and Peace Show. Last year saw tickets sell out
one week before the show and now the reputation has grown such that a
stringently monitored ticket sales office announced the sell out on 1st
July.
For those that
won't be able to make it now to the Herb Miller evening, the War and
Peace Show (17th - 21st July) still has plenty to offer in the way of
40's fashion and music. Radio War and Peace will be broadcasting
throughout the show and is sure to playing the popular tunes of Glenn
Miller on its 87.9FM wavelength throughout the show.
Two fashion
shows will take place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the show,
showcasing the best of 40's glamour and proving that the 1940's weren't
all about serge!
The War and
Peace Show takes place at the Hop Farm Country Park, Paddock Wood, Kent
between 17th - 21st July. Admission is £10.00 for adults, £8.00 for
children (4-15 yrs) and seniors and £32.00 for a family of four. Gates
