Fun and Rides at the

2002 War and Peace Show

 

The War and Peace show isn't all about Military Vehicles!. There will also be fun entertainment and rides at the show. As well as a funfair for the kids (and adults!), we will also be offering the following..

Helicopter Rides -

How about taking a flight up in a helicopter? The flight lasts approximately 10 minutes and offers fantastic views of the showground and the surrounding countryside from the air.

Price: £25 per person per seat. A family or group of 4 can have a flight for the reduced price of £85.

Flight times: Friday 12noon - 5pm, Saturday 10am - 5pm, Sunday 10am - 5pm.

Tank rides

Tank Rides -

The experience of a lifetime! Take a ride on a chieftain tank. Courtesy of Tulipa Lesiure.

Price: £5 per person. The ride lasts for approximately 5 minutes.

Times: Wednesday and Thursday 12noon - 5pm, Friday Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm.

Hop Farm Express -

The hop farm's blue electric train takes frequent rides around the show every day. Popular with the children.

Price: £1 per person

Times: Wednesday and Thursday 11-30am - 5pm, Friday Saturday and Sunday 10am - 6pm.

Dray Rides -

Take a tour of the War and Peace Show for only £2.00

Tours last approximately 15 minutes with commentary.

Take a War and Peace tour in our new dray, behind a tractor. The tours will start from 8:00am and will finish at the end of the day. The journey lasts approximately 15 minutes. Tours start outisde the Kitcheners Bar, will run along the Arlon Highway, across the Remagan ridge into Big Monktons field and then back to Kitcheners Bar. There will be commentary as to what can be seen in each area.




Paintball -

Have a go at paintball with your friends, courtesy of Splat Attack. More information on this soon.
