With the new pipeline we used over 200,000 gallons of water, supplying
20 showers, 60 toilets and 50 hand basins, not counting drinking water
and usage by catering. Unfortunately we also created so much sewerage
that we blew up the pumps that handled this side of the operation. To
repair this a specialist diver was required to descend into the pit and
remove the pumps. Any volunteers for next year?
