Below is our timetable of events in the Miller (second) Arena of the War and Peace Show 2002. Click on one of the links below to go straight to the events of that day.

Wednesday Main Arena Events &

12pm Noon Military Machines In Miniature. Radio controlled tanks, Pedal Jeeps and working scale models are put through their paces.

2.00 pm We Start The Afternoon With A Big Bang! 25lb Gun Demonstration by the World War Two Display Team.

2.30 pm Kid's Stuff! Fun and action for the young (and not so young!)

3.00 pm Keep Smiling Through! "Jive Connection" and The Hop Farm's very own "Blue Crew" join forces (excuse the pun!) to bring you a 1940's song and dance spectacular remembering the hits of the War years.

3.30 pm The 1940's Fashion Show Preview. A sneak look at some of the stylish clothes and accessories which will feature in our special Wartime fashion extravaganza later in the week.

4.00 pm Jive And Jitterbug. Learn to Jive with "Jive Connection". A simple fun workshop which will have you dancing like a professional in half an hour, irrespective of your age or ability.

Friday Main Arena Events

11.00 am Military Machines In Miniature. Radio controlled tanks, Pedal Jeeps and working scale models are put through their paces.

11.30 am Cadet Display. The Army and Air Force Cadets do sterling work at the show. This is their opportunity to show off their skills and training.

12pm Noon We Start The Afternoon With A Big Bang! 25 pdr Gun Demonstration by the World War Two Display Team.

12.30 am Keep Smiling Through! "Jive Connection" and The Hop Farm's very own "Blue Crew" join forces (excuse the pun!) to bring you a 1940's song and dance spectacular remembering the hits of the War years.

1.00 pm The 1940's Fashion Show. Music, Dance, Theatre and Fashion combined to bring you a nostalgic look at life during the 1930's and 1940's with special emphasis on the fashions of the period.

1.45 pm Kid's Stuff! Fun and action for the young (and not so young!)

2.30 pm Firepower. Another demonstration of teamwork and discipline from the World War Two Display Team with their Wartime Gun Tractor, Limber and 25 pdr field gun.

3.00 pm Jive And Jitterbug. Learn to Jive with "Jive Connection". A simple fun workshop which will have you dancing like a professional in half an hour, irrespective of your age or ability.

3.30 pm The 1940's Fashion Show. Another chance to see our very special presentation of original period clothing, with a look at fashion trends during the turbulent war years.

4.15 pm Jump, Jive And Swing! Hot Music live from Cat Kane and The Sugarbeaters.

Saturday Main Arena Events

11.00 am Military Machines In Miniature. Radio controlled tanks, Pedal Jeeps and working scale models are on show.

11.30 am Inter Cadet Competition. The Army and Air Force Cadets go head to head in the first round of The War and Peace Challenge Competition.

Also at this time we present The KM Brass Band in concert.

12pm Noon We Start The Afternoon With A Big Bang! 25 pdr Gun demonstration by the World War Two Display Team.

12.30 am Keep Smiling Through! "Jive Connection" and The Hop Farm's very own "Blue Crew" join forces (excuse the pun!) to bring you a 1940's song and dance spectacular remembering the hits of the War years.

1.00 pm The 1940's Fashion Show. Music, Dance, Theatre and Fashion combined to bring you a nostalgic look at life during the 1930's and 1940's with special emphasis on the fashions of the period.

Also Kid's Stuff! Fun and action for the young to keep them amused while Mum enjoys the fashion show.

1.45 pm Inter Cadet Competition. Round 2 of this exciting battle of skills and stamina.

Also The Rochester Pipe Band by popular demand.

2.15 pm Firepower. Another demonstration of teamwork and discipline from the World War Two Display Team with their Wartime Gun Tractor, Limber and 25 pdr field gun.

2.45 pm The KM Brass Band. A second chance to relax and listen to one of Kent's premier bands.

3.00 pm Jive And Jitterbug. Learn to Jive with "Jive Connection". A simple fun workshop which will have you dancing like a professional in half an hour, irrespective of your age or ability.

3.30 pm The 1940's Fashion Show. Another chance to see our very special presentation of original period clothing, with a look at fashion trends during the turbulent war years.

4.15 pm Three Cats And A Fiddle. More live music. This great outfit will take you back to the 1940's and 1950's and the sound of The Nat King Cole Trio.

12.30 pm Majorettes. We are pleased to introduce our very own local Majorettes seen here as they go through their paces.
