- a wide interest in military and naval history
- my father and I have a small collection of Bedfords and AEC Matadors. At present we are restoring a 1939 Crossley Prime Mover and a number of pieces of armour, including a Fox (GM) Armoured Car and a 1942 Staghound Armoured Car.

History of Hobby - When and where did you start and how did you arrive where you are to-day?

How long have you been involved with War & Peace and in what capacity?

I've been involved in restoring military vehicles since the mid 1980s and became involved with the IMPS towards the end of that decade. In 1985 I took on the role I still hold - of IMPS Western Area Secretary.

My latest project is a register of all the remaining Staghounds in the world.

As an IMPS volunteer, I have been involved with Beltring since 1994. Since 1995, I have completed a number of menial tasks, including traffic control, gate guardian, litter picker-upper (how things have changed since the Monday morning stroll with the black bin liner!!), and I now spend most of my time in the vehicle booking-in tent.
