Tanks, 1989
Alvis Spartan APC, Bedford RL 1963, model tanks, Wartime motorbikes and
the Jeep see-saw were all to be seen on Thursday despite the overnight
rain, as the crowds at Beltring enjoyed a dry day. Exciting arena
events included the biggest gathering of tanks for some time.

The
tanks included an M60 MBT and the wonderfully restored M36 Jackson which
we saw at Beltring last year in as found condition. Barry Knee and his
chums worked tirelessly, offering unsuspecting members of the public tank
rides.
